370 Krunch Stoneware

370 Krunch Stoneware is a warm, peachy/buff-colored clay. Ideal for throwing and handbuilding larger pieces, Krunch easily holds its shape when used to create taller and wider work, and takes attachments with ease. 370 textures and alters nicely, and is great for stacked or combined pieces. Its buff color may slightly warm sheer glazes, but typically will not drastically change a glaze's fired color. Krunch vitrifies (becomes water-tight) at Cone 6, and can be fired up to Cone 10 in oxidation or reduction. Beautiful in reduction, clay will darken to a reddish/brown with some reverse speckling.
