304 Roasted Chestnut Stoneware

304 Roasted Chestnut Stoneware is a rich, dark brown color. Ideal for throwing and handbuilding, Roasted Chestnut has a smooth overall texture that is great for surface texture and carving. Works very well for slab and extruded work. Its deep color may change a glaze's fired color, depending on the translucency and tone. Grey Speck vitrifies (becomes water-tight) at Cone 5, and can be fired up to Cone 6 in oxidation.
