302 Wild Turkey Stoneware is a warm, peachy/buff-colored clay. Ideal for throwing and handbuilding, Wild Turkey is pliable and plastic and easily holds its shape. Its smooth feel textures and alters nicely. Wild Turkey's buff color may slightly warm sheer glazes, but typically will not drastically change a glaze's fired color. Wild Turkey vitrifies (becomes water-tight) at Cone 6, and can be fired up to Cone 10 in oxidation or reduction. Beautiful in reduction, clay will darken to a reddish/brown.

Did you know...if you're looking for a more textured clay for larger/wider pieces, try the 370 Krunch Stoneware. Same color and glaze finish as the 302 Wild Turkey, but more coarse for larger work.
