202 Snow White Stoneware

202 Snow White Stoneware is a very smooth, stark white-colored clay. 202 glazes beautifully-its crisp white color is a perfect canvas for glazes to show bright, sharp and accurate colors. It glazes and finishes with a smooth surface very much like a porcelain, but its working performance is all stoneware. Ideal for throwing and handbuilding, Snow White easily holds its shape when used to create taller and wider pieces, and takes attachments with ease. even with its no-grog formula, Snow White resists warping and cracking, and alters nicely. Snow White's smooth texture is perfect for carving, stamping and other surface texture techniques. Snow White vitrifies (becomes water-tight) at Cone 6, and can be fired up to Cone 10 in oxidation or reduction.
